How can I get to the overseas market
By Richard Mulvey We have already discussed how to use the Internet to market your books so there is no need to go into that any more here. If you are using a traditional publisher rather than self publishing and they believe your book has international potential they will certainly approach that market. If you believe that you have written an international best seller however, there is a possibility of getting an international publisher to publish your book. To do this you will need an agent. Agents are almost as hard to interest in your manuscript as publishers. Hard, but not impossible. Agents do not charge fees, but rather they take 15% of your royalties when your book is successful. This is a good deal and if I was publishing fiction I would definitely work very hard to get an international agent.
From the moment I picked up your book until I laid it down, I was convulsed with laughter. Some day I intend reading it. Groucho MarxImage courtesy of – Stuart Miles – / FreeDigitalPhotos.net
